Shade is actually Kage, he was poisoned by Mephiles he lost his memories of who he was, he got them back shortly after waking up for the poison, but so part o his memories are still covered in a black haze.

New powers: (these are some of the side effects of the poison) Healing, Shadow balls, he can hind in others shadows (like Mephiles ).
